A creamy and flavorful slow cooker chicken dish made with garlic, Parmesan cheese, and a rich sauce that’s perfect served over pasta or rice.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Dot the butter evenly over the top of the chicken and sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Carefully remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and place on a serving platter.
Stir the sauce in the slow cooker to combine and thicken slightly.
Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
