Description
A simple and delicious maple glazed salmon baked on a sheet pan, perfect for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner. The sweet and savory glaze caramelizes beautifully, creating a flavorful crust while keeping the salmon moist and tender.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, thinly sliced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared sheet pan, spacing them evenly.
Brush the maple glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
Arrange the lemon slices around and on top of the salmon fillets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The glaze should be caramelized and slightly sticky.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
