Description

A simple and versatile slow cooker ground beef recipe perfect for meal prep or easy dinners. Tender and flavorful ground beef cooked low and slow, ready to be used in tacos, pasta, casseroles, and more.


Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup beef broth


Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Drain excess fat from the cooked ground beef.
Transfer the browned ground beef to the slow cooker.
Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, chili powder, and beef broth to the slow cooker.
Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours.
After cooking, stir the ground beef mixture and taste for seasoning, adjusting salt and pepper if needed.
