Description

A flavorful and hearty skillet dish combining tender ground beef, spicy honey garlic sauce, and pasta for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

8 ounces penne pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet with the beef. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and beef broth.
Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet with the beef. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce and beef mixture.
Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in chopped fresh parsley.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
