Description

A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe featuring a savory soy sauce glaze. Perfectly cooked salmon with a delicious umami punch, ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of each fillet with olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper evenly.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or bowl and pour the soy sauce mixture over them. Let them marinate for 5 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.
Air fry the salmon for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Drizzle any remaining soy sauce glaze from the marinade over the salmon.
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
