A quick and easy recipe for perfectly cooked air fryer tilapia fillets. This dish is light, flaky, and seasoned simply to highlight the natural flavor of the fish. Ready in under 20 minutes, it’s perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
2 tilapia fillets (about 6 ounces each), thawed and patted dry
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Brush both sides of the tilapia fillets with olive oil.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the fillets.
Place the seasoned tilapia fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the fillets at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Carefully remove the fillets from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
