Description

A simple and delicious classic garlic bread made with fresh bread, butter, and garlic. Perfect as a side for pasta, soups, or salads.

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread (about 12 inches)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix well until fully blended.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of both bread halves.
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Slice the garlic bread into 1 to 2 inch pieces and serve warm.
