Description

A quick and easy apple mug cake that’s perfect for a single serving dessert. Made with fresh apple, cinnamon, and a moist cake base, this mug cake is ready in just minutes.


Ingredients

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 small apple, peeled and diced into small pieces


Instructions

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir well to mix the dry ingredients evenly.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the mug. Stir until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Fold in the diced apple pieces evenly into the batter.
Microwave the mug on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle. Cooking times may vary depending on your microwave.
Carefully remove the mug from the microwave (it will be hot). Let the cake cool for 1-2 minutes before eating.
