Description

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these air fryer potato halves make a perfect easy side dish or snack. Seasoned simply with olive oil, salt, and pepper, they cook quickly in the air fryer for a delicious golden finish.

Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes, washed and halved lengthwise
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Pat the potato halves dry with a clean kitchen towel.
Brush each potato half evenly with olive oil on the cut side.
Sprinkle kosher salt and black pepper evenly over the cut sides of the potatoes.
Place the potato halves cut side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
Carefully flip the potato halves so the cut side is facing up.
Continue air frying for an additional 5 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender inside when pierced with a fork.
Remove the potato halves from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
