A simple and delicious garlic bread appetizer featuring a crispy baguette topped with a buttery garlic herb spread, perfect for serving alongside pasta, salads, or as a tasty snack.
Ingredients
1 loaf French baguette, cut in half lengthwise
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly blended.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of both baguette halves.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Cut the garlic bread into 8 equal pieces and serve warm.
