Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsweetened plain yogurt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract, and white vinegar until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold together using a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting or serving.
