Description
A quick and flavorful air fryer salmon recipe infused with fresh ginger, garlic, and a touch of soy sauce for a deliciously tender and aromatic meal.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chopped green onions, for garnish
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, honey, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create the marinade.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the fillets to coat evenly. Let marinate for 8 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and transfer to serving plates.
Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
