Description

Tender and juicy chicken breasts cooked effortlessly in a crockpot with simple seasonings. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or meal prep.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Season both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. This step is optional but helps lock in flavor.
Place the seared chicken breasts into the crockpot in a single layer.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts.
Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is tender.
Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the crockpot and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
