A quick and flavorful air fryer recipe combining juicy shrimp and smoky sausage, perfect for a delicious and easy meal.
Ingredients
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp and sliced sausage.
Add olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss everything together until the shrimp and sausage are evenly coated with the seasoning.
Place the shrimp and sausage mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping. The shrimp should be opaque and cooked through, and the sausage should be browned.
Remove the shrimp and sausage from the air fryer and transfer to a serving bowl.
Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the cooked shrimp and sausage, then sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve immediately.
