Description

Juicy shrimp grilled to perfection and brushed with a rich, flavorful cowboy butter sauce made with garlic, herbs, and spices. Perfect for a quick and delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, kosher salt, and lemon juice. Stir well to create the cowboy butter sauce.
Thread the shrimp evenly onto the soaked wooden skewers, about 6-7 shrimp per skewer.
Brush the shrimp generously with the cowboy butter sauce on all sides.
Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
While grilling, brush the shrimp occasionally with more cowboy butter sauce to keep them moist and flavorful.
Remove the shrimp skewers from the grill and serve immediately with any remaining cowboy butter sauce for dipping.
