Description

These high protein beef patties are packed with lean ground beef and wholesome ingredients, perfect for a nutritious and satisfying meal. Easy to prepare and cook, they make a great option for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, large egg, rolled oats, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly using your hands or a spoon until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the beef patties to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on one side without moving them to develop a crust.
Flip the patties and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for well-done.
Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
