Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until fully combined.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Use a fork to gently press down on each ball, creating a crisscross pattern.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
