Description

A simple and healthy low calorie chicken fillet recipe that is juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a light meal. This recipe uses minimal oil and fresh herbs to keep the calories low while maintaining great taste.


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets (about 150g each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
Place the chicken fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush both sides of the chicken fillets evenly with the olive oil and spice mixture.
Bake the chicken fillets in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 3 minutes.
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the chicken fillets before serving.
