Description

A warm and cheesy garlic bread casserole that’s perfect as a comforting side dish or a hearty appetizer. Layers of garlic butter-soaked bread cubes, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic.
Place the bread cubes in a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the bread cubes and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly.
Add the dried Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the bread cubes and toss again.
Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Layer half of the garlic butter-coated bread cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese over the bread layer.
Add the remaining bread cubes on top of the cheese layer.
Top the casserole with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving.
