Description
A quick and healthy meal featuring crispy air-fried shrimp paired with tender green beans, seasoned with garlic and lemon for a flavorful dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, divided
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, toss the green beans with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper until evenly coated.
Place the green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 6 minutes.
While the green beans start cooking, in another bowl, combine the shrimp with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly.
After the green beans have cooked for 6 minutes, shake the basket or stir the green beans. Add the shrimp on top of the green beans in a single layer.
Cook for an additional 6 minutes or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through and the green beans are tender-crisp.
Remove the shrimp and green beans from the air fryer. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve immediately.
